  1. I am new to the spark. Got it for Christmas. I was wondering. If you experience the problem with the OTG cable not working in this update, can you go back to a previous firmware version after upgrading it?

  2. But now the range is 100m high and the lenght is like 500m or lower then i loose connection or visual..with the otg i get no info on H D S… its seem the distance claim is now viod …on their behalf…im pissed, should i downgrade

  3. Thanks for the info. I did the updates today went for a short test flight with no issues, I don't use the OTG cable. I love the channel. Happy New Year.

  4. I had no problems flying with WiFi the first two weeks I owned my Spark. Then, suddenly, I started losing signal and the RC would disconnect from my phone. After tons of research, I think that maybe it just comes down to the number of active apps on your phone. The DJI Go 4 app pulls a lot of resources out of a phone to operate a Spark Androids are marketed by different companies which have each added their own "tweeks", and the DJI Go 4 app has to handle all of them. So for me, I plan to uninstall as many apps as I can to see if my Disconnect problem can be resolved. We'll see….

  5. Fairly new to the drone scene, but before the update my max was only at 10,3** feet… now I maxed out to 13,543 feet on stock remote… I’m not sure if the update has anything to do with it…

  6. Well with the problem with otg cable I tried it with out cable and warning signal disappear wow I think dji is trying eliminate using otg cable or trick you not using it but anyway I tried without my max distance I got 9271 ft

  7. After update of my spark, the take off from my hand function no longer work.  Just noted that to requires more light in order for Spark to recognise your face and also follows your hand signal than before

  8. i was having issue with my spark too and saw the update so did it after a lot of problems with it stopping half way through  But do I have to do it with each battery ??? because I have 3 altogether ??? I thoufght it just updates the actual drone ?????

  9. Thanks for the video.I did the latest update but didn't restart the spark i just powered off then the next day powered on and flew, should i have restarted the spark straight after the update as there was no issues the next day when i flew.Do i need to uninstall and reinstall again because of not restarting?

  10. Thanks for another informative video! I got my spark two days ago and have made 4 outdoor flights. I love flying this thing! One annoying thing..the USB connection does not link. I've tried many times after watching your video and watching multiple other videos. Some people are specualting the newest firmware has disabled the cable connection and forces us to use wifi to connect our phone/tablet to our spark controller. Is this confirmed?

  11. Here is a follow up for you. So, today I decided to check my drones. I hooked up the Mavic to the DJI Asst. and noted an update needed. So, I clicked in and it took about 5 minutes and then stated it was done. Click the back button. I did and it still showed the update needed. I did this five times and gave up. Hooked up my remote and iPad Mini with the OTG cable and again it showed the same updated needed. I did it over WIFI and it worked fine. The Spark updated just fine with the DJI Asst. Go figure.

  12. hey Kloo Gee , i have updated my spark and battery's … i'm from belgium … europe … and when i connect with my otg cable … i get the message "weak image signal " … but i fly max distance , and no signal lost til dis far ….
happy holydays and greetings from belgium
